Government of the people, by the people and for the people and not government of the ruling class, by the ruling class and for the ruling class. I would say that Green is more the people and not the ruling class. Liberals today are more aligned with the ruling class, and look down at people like Green. But I bet Green is like many in politics these days... she is looking for some line to a good living connected to her political role.

But to me MTG is definitely from the ruling class - born rich, never worked a day except for her own benefit (body building, Q-Anon blogging).

But I don't look down on her; I think she's real smart and followed Trump's playbook in knowing how to manipulate the media (say something outrageous and grab the headlines) and based her whole political identity on Resentment and National Identity ("Save America, Stop Socialism") and it worked and look at her now, wields an amazing lot of power in Washington. But like you say, she's probably looking for a good payoff. And she'll get it. Fox News - she'll generate a lot of ratings, maybe give Tucker a run for his money. Outrageous comments generate headlines generate ratings.

And I see Boebert learning the same lessons and now trying to out-Marge Marge.

I just see the whole bunch of them (Marge, Boebert, Gaetz, Jordan) as power-hungry self-serving politicians who just pretend to be "for the people", they're only in it for themselves.

And yes, so are most politicians, on the right and on the left. That's the problem - politics isn't for the people any more, it's for the politicians who say they're for the people.

MTG just knows better than most how to raise her profile to the top. Doesn't mean she'll make life any better for anyone else.

But this "Lizard" piece was just for fun - I was in a pissy mood when I banged it out.

I wish people knew more about her real background: The Five Faces of MTG shows how opportunistic and manipulative she has always been. It's worked for her; she's made herself famous. I'd say to her: OK, you've risen to the top. Now what? How are you gonna make life better for my grandmother or my grandkids?

And thank you for reading and commenting -that's the reason I'm still working on this site. To get people's reactions, maybe change some minds, maybe change my own.

Yes, a lizard-like creature but lizards are real cool creatures so only like them.

Hey Bill, I guess comparing MTG to lizards was an insult to lizards.

There's another article here on the 5 Faces of MTG. Knowing her background makes her even more, uh, deplorable.

Thanks for you comment here.
